Comments A Medium Size, Colorful, Very Well Made, Old Town Decorated Teapot That Exhibits Visible Surface Aging Coloration And Clay Aging Patination, Correct Paint And Application, Correct Overall Shape And Style Neck, Spout And Button, Correct Aged Surface Void Soil Deposits, Correct Bottom Aged Use Wear, Visible Inside Spout Aging, Correct Type Paint And Application, Correct Material And Manufacture For The Area Found. The Teapot Was Believed First Observed By The Quapaw Indians About 1,540 Near Present Memphis, Being Used By DeSoto s Army And Afterwards Being Copied By Them.
