A Large Size, Typically And Well Made, Nicely Flaked, Steeply Triangular Madison Arrow Point That Exhibits Surface Aged Coloration And Stone Patination, Correct Triangular Shape And Straight Base, Overall Aged Soil And Mineral Surface Deposits, Correct Thinned Base And Overall Shape For The Type. Madison Points Are Associated With The Mississippian Culture, The Type Being An Un-Notched Cahokia Point In The Missouri/Illinois Area And Believed To Be Used By The Kaskaskia Tribe, Into The 1700 s. This Is A Nicely Flaked Example, Displaying Age And Slight Ancient Sharpening Use Wear. Includes Cypress Valley ( Carlos Black ) And Ken Partain Certificates Of Authenticity.
