Comments A Medium Size, Nicely Flaked, Thin, Very Well Made Delhi Point That Exhibits Surface Oxidation Aged Coloration And Overall Stone Patination, Aging At The Basal Stem Notching, Correct Late Archaic Style Blade Flaking, Aged Soil Deposits In The Hinges, Correct Style Base And Overall Shape For The Type, Correct Material And Manufacture For The Area Found. The Type Was Named By Clarence Webb And James A. Ford, In 1956. The Poverty Point Site, Louisiana Is The Type Site, The Delhi Point Is Found In Louisiana And The Border Area Of Texas. This Is A Nice Example, With A Very Slight Basal Ding. Includes A Ken Partain Certificate Of Authenticity.
