A Large Size, Thin, Visibly Aged, Very Well Made, Nicely Flaked Nodena Arrow Point That Exhibits Surface Sheen And Stone Coloration Aging Patination, Aged Soil And Mineral Surface Deposits, Correct Elliptical Shape And Rounded Base, Correct Oblique And Parallel Overall Style Flaking, Correct Material And Manufacture For The Area Found. Ex-Scott Dean Collection. The Type Is Found In Central/Eastern Arkansas And Where Quapaw And Mississippian Cultures Lived. Caches Are Found With Nice Pottery In A Mortuary Context. This Is An Excellent Example, Possibly Being In As Made Condition. Includes Carlos Black ( Cypress Valley Antiquities ) And Ken Partan Certificates Of Authenticity.
