Large, Very Thin For The Size And Type, Visibly Aged, Very Colorful, Well Made Calf Creek Point Preform That Exhibits Surface Sheen Aging And Stone Coloration Patination, Aged Fossil Voids And Surface Indentions Soil And Mineral Deposits, Correct Style Thinned Base And Overall Shape, Correct Style Blade Flaking, Correct Material And Manufacture For The Area Found. Found In The Arkansas River, Below The Keystone Dam Near Tulsa, Oklahoma. Ex-John Richardson Collection. The Basal, Overall Thinning And Shape Is Typical For The Calf Creek. This Very Nice Example Only Lacks Basal Notching. Includes Gregory Perino And Ken Partain Certificates Of Authenticity.
