A Large, Thin For The Size, Visibly Aged And Anciently Use Sharpened, Nicely Percussion Flaked And Well Made Paleo Knife That Exhibits Surface Sheen Aging And Stone Coloration Patination, Correct Rolled Basal Stem Edge Hafting Dulling, Aged River Polished Surface Wear, Correct Blade Sharpening Use Reduction, Correct Early Style Blade Flaking, Correct Material And Manufacture For The Area Found. The Ground Basal Edges, Concave Base And Type Of Basal Flaking Indicates A Hafted Knife. Being From East Texas This Example Very Possibly Is From The Cody Complex Scottsbluff Period.
